Have Us Handle the Bar
How much alcohol do I need for 100 guests?

For a 4-hour full bar with an average crowd, plan on about 500 drinks: roughly 16 bottles of spirits (750 ml), 33 bottles of wine and 7 cases of beer, plus about 17 bags of ice. Use the calculator above for your exact guest count, hours and drink mix.

How many drinks per person per hour should I plan for?

A good rule is two drinks per guest in the first hour and one per hour after that. Lively crowds drink more and light ones less, and the calculator adjusts for both.

How many bottles of wine do I need for a wedding?

A 750 ml bottle pours about five glasses. When wine is about a third of the drinks at a full bar, 100 guests over 4 hours need roughly 33 bottles. A champagne toast adds about one bottle for every 8 guests. Planning a reception? See our wedding bar service.

How much ice do I need for a party?

Plan on about 1.5 pounds of ice per guest, or 2 pounds outdoors in warm weather. That covers the drinks and keeping everything cold. For 100 guests, that’s about 17 ten-pound bags.
